Parco Perlasca

Park dedicated to Giorgio Perlasca, an Italian hero who in the winter of 1944, during the Secondo World War, risking arrest, deportation and death, pretended to be Spanish General Consul and managed to save the lives of more than five thousand Hungarian Jews snatching Nazi deportation and the Holocaust, and then found their temporary accommodation and dealing, also personally, supply of food. The green area covers about 3,500 squares meters, it is partially shaded and equipped with fountain, wooden benches (some of which, desigened for children, with a small table in the middle) and play equipment suitable for children of all ages up to 12 years. Recently there have been included exciting new games, a small house with bench, a mini-climbing called “compass” and an innovative composition, prepared for more games,consisting of two towers connected by a bridge.
