The institutional website of the Padova Tourist Destination by D.M.O. Padova ensures compliance with the principles set in EU Regulation 679/2016 and Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of all personal data and the free use of the same data, also for reasons of public interest but in line with the right to transparency.
The Municipality of Padova, promoter of the Destination Management Organization (D.M.O.) Padova, gives data subjects the possibility to use its institutional portal to freely access services of public interest.
The personal data processed – possibly collected or provided in the relevant form by the internet user – and any other relevant information, can be accessed by going to www.turismopadova.it which corresponds to the official website of the Padova Tourist Destination by D.M.O. Padova.
With this policy, in addition to describing how to use the site, the Municipality of Padova, promoter of the Padova Destination Management Organization, intends to inform all users, including internet surfers accessing the destination portal, about how their personal data is processed and the related safeguards provided by law, pursuant to art. 13 of the above mentioned “Regulations”.
This information is provided exclusively for the personal data contained in the website www.turismopadova.it and does not apply to other websites (for which the Authority is not responsible or co-owner) that can be consulted by the user through links.

Data processing purposes and legal basis
Personal data is processed to fulfil the institutional obligations of the Municipality of Padova, promoter of the Destination Management Organization Padova, such as – by way of example – regulating the information and communication activities of public administrations, accessing services and information and implementing the Digital Agenda resulting from the application of the Digital Administration Code.
The personal data provided by the users will be treated consistently with the services offered by the Municipality of Padova, as promoter of the Destination Management Organization Padova, through its portal and solely as a public authority fulfilling its institutional obligations.
Within the scope of these purposes, the processing also concerns the data on portal registrations necessary to manage the relations with the Municipality of Padova, as well as to allow effective institutional communication and to fulfil any legal, regulatory or contractual obligations.
Where and how data is processed
The data is processed exclusively in the Italian territory by staff trained and authorized to the lawful processing of data according to the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency, relevance and minimisation with respect to the purposes of collection and subsequent processing.

• obtain limitation to processing and notification of the limitation being lifted;
• data portability;
• lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
