On fourteenthcentury, rebuilt in Renaissance style by Lorenzo da Bologna, the Basilica of Carmine was finished in the eighteenth century. The façade designed by G. Gloria (1737) has a gabled portal, adorned by statues of two Saints and the Virgin Mary, works of G. Bonazza. The adjacent Scoletta preserves splendid frescoes by Giulio and Domenico Campagnola, Girolamo dal Santo, Stefano dall'Arzere, newly restored.
Built in the fourteenth century, as seat of the homonym fraternity, it is decorated by an important cycle of frescoes of the sixteenth century, representing the stories of Christ and Mary. The frescoes are the work of Girolamo Tessari said “Dal Santo” ( Expulsion of Joachim from the Temple, Apparition of the Angel Joachim, the Holy Family of Nazareth, Pentecost , Dormitio Virgins, Assumption of Mary ), Giulio Campagnola (Nativity of Mary, the Presentation of Mary at the temple, Visit of Mary in the Temple) Domenico Campagnola (Meeting of Jachim and Saint Anna), Stefano dall'Arzere (Adoration of the Shepherds, Adoration of the Magi and Purification) and collaborators .
