Golf Club La Montecchia

Golf Club La Montecchia

The Montecchia Golf Club was founded in 1988 by a group of willing entrepreneurs of Padua. The camp, a championship course designed by British architect Tom Macaulay, hosted the Challenge Tour in 2001, in 2002 and 2013 and the Alps Tour in 2010 and 2012. Over the years, improvements have been made and changes to the circuit, while nature has dane its part by strengthening the heritage trees. With the change of administration to the current owner, it has insisted especially in the adaptation of the entire structure and systems to the rules concerning ecology, safety and optimization of resources with particular regard to water and electricity. To highlight the recent conversion of the sward to Bermudagrass, allowing you to have the field in peak condition during all seasons. The properties of the Counts Emo Capodilista, including an ancient castle and a splendid Renaissance villa, once also they included the current clubhouse. Situated in an old tobacco drying, carefully restored, it now offers to members and visitors numerous services more easily accessible thanks to the construction of the new ring road that provides quick access to the center of the city and all the tollgates.
