Parish Church of San Domenico

Parish Church of San Domenico

The church is located at the center of the district of the same name and can be reached from either via Euganea, another name for the eternal "Montanara", at the intersection with Via San Bartolomeo, and by other roads that are detached from Via Montegrappa. Its construction is related to the establishment of the parish, which took place on 8 December 1969 in view of the rapid population growth which occurred in this "angle Tencarola". The design by architects A. and E. Cornoldi Barato, was carried out between 26 March and 24 December 1972. The dedication to St. Dominic was born in gratitude to the former owners of the area, the Dominican Preachers of Padua.
