Bruno Munari: Aria | Terra

Bruno Munari: Aria | Terra

The art of Bruno Munari (Milan, 1907-1998) is a complex of exceptional painting, sculpture, experiments about the most varied and innovative techniques; and also graphics, design, publishing, finally to arrive to his famous workshops for children.
The first pole is placed in the name of air, consisting of physical and mental lightness, in spatial and conceptual developement, an ease that seems not to require effort, like without gravity.
The second pole is entitled to the land: the lightness of the art works translates into “doing”, going beyond the narrow confines of art, understood as exclusive privilege, elitism, to pour them into concrete practices of everyday life.
There are four rooms with examples of activities for visitors, children and adults. These rooms of “doing”, made by Bruno Munari Association, allow visitors to "do to learn", in a dimension that stimulates the surprise and the joy of discovery.
Open every day except Monday morning and Tuesday.
