The young harpist Miriam Pipitone will present a very varied program, starting from the baroque harmonies of Handel, then moving on to the music of the first half of the nineteenth century by Parish-Alvars, a composer and harpist of British origins, and the Russian Glinka, and then focusing on three French authors: Carlos Salzedo, Claude Debussy and the contemporary, and much performed, Guillaume Connesson. Miriam Pipitone began studying the harp at the age of six. In 2016 she enrolled at the Conservatory of Padua, where, in 2022 at just 14 years old, she was admitted to the first level academic three-year course. Since 2023 she has played in a harp duo with Margherita Spicci with whom she was invited by the \u201cSocieta\u2019 dei Concerti\u201d of Milan for several concerts, both in duo and as a soloist. The prestigious affirmation at the \u201cPremio delle arti\u201d, a competition promoted by the MIUR that rewards the best students of the Conservatories, obtained in 2024, was added to the numerous prizes already won, including the First Absolute Prize XL Edition \u201cConcorso Internazionale di Musica citt\u00e0 di Stresa\u201d in 2023 and the First Prize XI\u00b0 Ed. \u201cInternational Music Competitio ncitt\u00e0 di Palmanova\u201d in 2023. Also with \u201cWhatsHarp\u201d, an ensemble of 8 harps directed by Tiziana Tornari of which he has been a member since 2020, he has won several competitions. The concert was organized in collaboration with CIDIM (Italian National Committee for ETS Music).
