With the concert on January 26th, at 11 am in the Sala dei Giganti at the Liviano in Padua, the exhibition dedicated to the complete works of Beethoven’s string quartets, organized by the Friends of Music of Padua and now in its sixth and penultimate appointment. The musicians of the Quartetto di Venezia (Andrea Vio violin and Alberto Battiston on violin, Mario Paladin on viola and Angelo Zanin on cello), who were entrusted with the entire cycle of seven concerts, have once again agreed to get involved with the ‘complete Beethovenian, facing a challenge which for a quartet “is always a very important, stimulating and demanding test”, in the words of the violinist Andrea Vio. The Quartet has so far been rewarded by a large turnout of the public, who have demonstrated from concert to concert that they appreciate interpretation and performance of the highest quality.
