“T.V.B. Traditional Venetian Boat” and “ARKA” in collaboration with the Delta Tour Navigazione Turistica Organize evening boat trips on the Piovego to rediscover the secrets of our city.
Program 8:00 pm:
meeting with the captain and boarding the boat at the PARCO FISTOMBA pier at Ponte Ognissanti in Via Ognissanti – PADOVA.

Start of the navigation along a river route, between navigable canals of the city, along the ancient Renaissance Venetian walls, while from the boat you can admire the monumental sites visible from the river.
Along the straight stretch of the sixteenth-century walls that border the university citadel until reaching Portello, the most important river port of the city.
At the Porta del Portello, Marco Antonio Loredan, Prefect, in 1518 recognized the greater antiquity of the city of Padua but at the same time, claimed its Venetian domination.
The beautiful sixteenth-century staircase, rediscovered thanks to a painting by Canaletto which is now in Washington, has made it possible to admire this spectacular Renaissance context. The navigation will continue towards the historic center until reaching the heart of Padua and the Conca delle Porte Contarine.
Around 9:30 pm, return to Parco Fistomba and end of services.
