Birdsong, a village feast, a thunderstorm, the icy wind, the rain falling slowly on the frozen ground: this is how nature is transformed as the seasons change. The Venetian composer Antonio Vivaldi describes this magic with brushstrokes of sound. These are The Four Seasons, a fascinating tale of music and words.
The concert takes place in the Teatro Giardino of Palazzo Zuckermann: the Palazzo was built between 1912 and 1914 by the Milanese architect Arosio, still in 19th-century style, on behalf of the industrialist Enrico Zuckermann. It can be taken as one of the symbols of the new bourgeois city that arose between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, following the definition of the new privileged road axis leading to the station.
