Let’s celebrate together the silver wedding of the Padova Tango Festival, a festival dedicated to Argentine tango, organized by the Cochabamba 444 tango club. Shows, concerts, dance evenings and lessons:
a different festival, the longest-running and most extensive on the national scene, which this year offers, in addition to the symbolic places of the event, new characteristic spaces of the city, to reaffirm the relationship more alive than ever between Padua, its territory and tango.
Tango is music, social and theatrical dance, prose and poetry, and undoubtedly a way of life.
Its main characteristics are those of a culture that expresses the dark side of life, initially considered sinful and indecent, but later managed to be universally accepted until its definitive consecration as a spokesperson for Argentine culture in the world.
On September 30, 2009, the United Nations Cultural Organization, UNESCO, declared Tango as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. “Constantly seeking the idea of communion between two bodies in a single dynamic structure, yielding, adapting and completing each other, just like in life” cit. RODOLFO DINZEL, one of the great masters of all time.
