The review dedicated to Beethoven’s complete string quartets, organised by the Amici della Musica of Padua, concludes on Sunday 2 February at 11 a.m. in the Sala dei Giganti of the Liviano in Padua, with the seventh and last concert of the Quartetto di Venezia (Andrea Vio on violin and Alberto Battiston on violin, Mario Paladin on viola and Angelo Zanin on cello).
The ensemble, one of the longest-lived in Italy with over forty years of activity, famous in Italy and abroad for its masterly performances, will therefore once again bring to completion this integral, one of the most complex works that a quartet can tackle and which, even within their vast repertoire, remains one of the most stimulating and significant stages. This complete work, hosted in the splendid setting of the Sala dei Giganti, was also an ambitious and significant milestone for the Amici della Musica di Padova.
