Monday 10 February, at 8.15 pm at the Pollini Auditorium in Padua, concert by the baroque ensemble La Lira di Orfeo, directed by the countertenor Raffaele Pe. Expected guests of the Amici della Musica di Padova also this season, and followed by the public always with great interest and enthusiasm, the musicians of this formation return in a concert entirely dedicated to Antonio Vivaldi, of which some of his arias and most beautiful songs will be performed solo concerts for various instruments (violin, trumpet, bassoon, flute and others). The combination of cantatas and sonatas in this “Vivaldian monograph” was desired by Raffaele Pe to highlight a less well-known repertoire of Vivaldi, but characterized by harmonic solutions that were very innovative for the time in which they were conceived.
