Padua also joins the first edition of the Regional Day of River Tourism offering tours along navigable canals!
Officially established by the Veneto Region, the first Regional Day of River Tourism will take place on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
The project arises with the specific intent to recognize, enhance, and promote river tourism, supporting communities.
Promoting river tourism means focusing on a sustainable tourism offer where the attraction is based on the wealth of landscape, natural, historical, cultural, productive, sports, and food and wine resources that characterize riverine communities.
Let yourself be enchanted by navigable canals, adventurous rivers, and unspoiled lagoons, discovering the most picturesque corners of Veneto. You can navigate the Renaissance among famous villas, imposing castles, and museums departing from the Bassanello pier, or visit Padua and its city walls via the Piovego Canal starting from the Conca delle Porte Contarine, but also row a boat on the Piovego Canal.
