One of the fundamental formats of modern jazz, the piano trio (in one case with organ-guitar), will be at the center of the concerts of the first weekend of the Padova Jazz Festival 2024.
On October 31, in the Rostagni Hall of the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Padua, the inauguration of the festival will, literally, be in the hands of New Yorker Jonathan Kreisberg. One of the most influential jazz guitarists in his city, ergo on an international level, Kreisberg with his trio combines timeless melodicism with futuristic sound textures, the result of a passion equally divided between modernity and tradition.
JONATHAN KREISBERG TRIO Jonathan Kreisberg (guitar), Marko Churnchetz (Hammond organ), Colin Stranahan (drums)
