The Anime Verdi Festival opens up some of the most beautiful gardens in Padua for an entire weekend.
Amidst centuries-old trees, exotic plants, lush meadows, hedges, flowers and architecture that smell of history, visitors can enjoy an unprecedented and surprising city, characterised by such breathtaking care and enchantment.
Strolling through the streets recognising themselves by their pass or an open map, taking advantage of the programme’s thousands of suggestions breaks down walls and boundaries, transforming Padua into one big garden for two days of celebration.
The festival aims to open up the most beautiful, curious and unexpected green spaces within the city walls of Padua, allowing the public to get to know their beauty, history and who takes care of them. The festival is not reserved for all private green spaces, lovingly cared for as oases of beauty and well-being.
Over the years, more than 75 owners have made themselves available, transforming the city into one big garden.
Anime Verdi welcomes visitors with the hospitality of the owners, the dedication of the volunteers, the attention of the partners and the passion of the experts, guides, artists and authors who will animate it, making it a unique and choral experience at the same time, in which to breathe in beauty and gratitude at the top of one’s lungs.
