The wait for the Padova Jazz Festival (whose 27th edition will begin on November 6) is filled with a picturesque preview: a concert that you can stumble upon by surprise while walking through the streets of Padua’s historic center. On Saturday, October 25, starting at 4:30 p.m., the MagicaBoola Brass Band will perform a traveling live show starting from Via Roma: a lively parade that will provide the city with a moving soundtrack.
The MagicaBoola Brass Band, founded in 2008 in Val di Cornia (Livorno), is a modern street band composed of wind and rhythm instruments: trumpets, trombones, saxophones, sousaphone, bass drum, snare drum, and percussion. MagicaBoola continues the stylistic path of the early New Orleans bands, offering a mix of jazz, blues, ethnic, hip hop, funk, and popular songs: music to listen to and watch, but above all to dance to.
