On Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 3.30 p.m., the Fantalica ETS association is offering a guided tour of the St. Francis Complex, which includes the St. Francis Church, the School of Charity and the cloisters. Halfway through the visit there will be a break in the Charity Hall with a touching musical intervention performed by the artists of the Nova Simphonya Patavina association.
The fourth stage of in-depth historical study is part of the POMERIGGI D’ARTE A PADOVA event sponsored by the Veneto Region, the City of Padua and winner of the La città delle Idee 2024 Call for Proposals, which will lead citizens to discover our local cultural heritage in a new and multidisciplinary way.
The common thread that will unite the many events proposed from October 2024 to April 2025 is the history of our city as seen through the eyes of the many pilgrims, wayfarers, philosophers, and preachers who have passed through it over the centuries. Each meeting, visit, workshop and performance will tell us about the centrality of Padua as a place of spirituality, of encounter between different cultures and between different faiths. A dialogue that will lead to extraordinary outcomes for the growth of the city.
The afternoon will last about two hours and will require reservations through the link: https://www.fantalica.com/event/complesso-san-francesco-padova-visita-guidata/
