After the success of the recent tour “Stefania Miotto sings Ennio Morricone”, the soprano from Padua returns to the stage together with the Morricone Tribute Ensemble for the long-awaited debut of the 2025 season scheduled for Saturday 15 March 2025 at 9.00 pm at the Teatro Don Bosco.
The event, in support of the Don Bosco Missions in Haiti, is organized by the I Musici Patavini association with the patronage of the Veneto Region, Province and Municipality of Padua.
The concert offers a selection of the most famous songs, masterfully arranged and reinterpreted by the Morricone Tribute Ensemble, with the aim of evoking the extraordinary musical atmospheres that have characterized a 70-year career. A tribute to a unique repertoire, made up of over 500 soundtracks, 70 million records sold and awarded two Oscar awards.
The program includes the most exciting compositions by Ennio Morricone, ranging from great cinema to classical Italian song. The famous music written by the maestro for legendary films such as “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”, “Once Upon a Time in America” and “A Fistful of Dollars” will be performed. Furthermore, there will be some of Ennio Morricone’s most refined arrangements of traditional Italian songs. Among these, “Torna a Surriento”, arranged for Miranda Martino in the sixties, and “Il mondo”, arranged for Jimmy Fontana in 1965. These works will be interpreted by the tenor Enrico Pertile, adding a touch of elegance and depth to this musical homage.
The voice of soprano Stefania Miotto, with her extraordinary interpretative ability and elegant timbre, enhances the most famous melodies, transforming each performance into a profound and emotional experience. His artistic sensitivity gives a touch of lyricism that fully enhances the majesty of the Master’s works. Made up of professional musicians of extraordinary experience, the Morricone Tribute Ensemble stands out for its ability to give new life to the unmistakable atmospheres of the master’s works.
