The Centro Organistico Padovano returns to organise the traditional concert series entitled ‘Padova Urbs Organi – Convergenze‘ at the Sanctuary of the Madonna Pellegrina in Padua.

In the particular historical moment in which we live, a time of disintegration, war and lack of harmony, the term ‘convergence’ takes on a profound and important meaning both from a creative and evocative point of view and from the point of view of the need for human beings to find a point where they can ‘converge’, stop and find balance, peace and mutual respect.

The programmes presented by the artists are therefore intended to offer the audience a new and original experience that breaks down barriers and boundaries.

The 77th concert cycle opens on Friday 4 October with a ‘Homage to Fauré‘ on the centenary of his death.

The concert is part of a wide-ranging project aimed at remembering the great composer and, in particular, at introducing and rediscovering a very interesting repertoire.

The concerts will take place every Friday in October. Concerts begin at 9 p.m.
