The Giro d’Italia 2024 passes through Padua, which hosts the arrival of the 18th stage: 166 km with departure from Fiera di Primiero and arrival in Prato delle Valle, after crossing the lands of Prosecco and the Riviera del Brenta.
The stage enters the city from via Piovese, passing over the Voltabarozzo bridge. The cyclists continue along via Facciolati, then turn left onto via Manzoni and then right onto via Cavazzana, arriving in Prato della Valle.
The big day of celebration on 23 May is preceded by ‚Settimana Rosa‘ (Pink Week), a week full of daily events with the lowest common denominator being the installation of pink architectural illuminations on monuments and facades of buildings that are symbols of Padua.
In addition, exhibitions, shows and themed meetings are organised in the city centre. In addition, events dedicated to the Giro are organised throughout the month of May.
