After the previous successes, the Festival dedicated to the Classical Guitar returns again this year.
Edition full of solo and chamber concerts, meetings, debates, lessons, production of new music and research in the field of composition and violin making.
The great David Russell, darling of the Festival, will open the musical festival with a concert in the Sala dei Giganti, while at the Barco Teatro the Czech guitarist Pavel Steidl will perform, one of the greatest exponents of nineteenth-century guitar, the Duo Maccari-Pugliese, also a reference for the repertoire of the same era is the Argentine Marquez, one of the most refined world protagonists.
Two conferences will take place with free entry at Barco Teatro, one on the themes of historical violin making held by the master luthier Lodi with testing of the instruments by the guitarist Enrica Savigni, the other on the themes of guitar composition, protagonists are the composers Stephen Goss, Francesco Antonioni, Carlo Galante and the musicologist Marco Riboni.
Furthermore, a group of selected students will participate in the masterclass campus for the final concert at the Barco Teatro, free entry, at the end, a scholarship will be awarded to the best student.
The Festival is organized under the artistic direction of Giacomo Susani.
