Tuesday 12 November 2023, at 8.15 pm, at the Pollini Auditorium, new appointment of “A piano per Padova”, the exhibition dedicated to piano excellence, with the pianist HERBERT SCHUCH, known for being one of the most interesting musicians of his generation.
His victory in three major competitions (the Casagrande Competition, the London International Piano Competition and the Vienna International Beethoven Competition) in 2004 alone created an international sensation. Schuch, of Romanian origins but raised in Germany, now has an important solo career under his belt both at a concert and recording level (ECHO Klassik Award in 2013), which leads him to collaborate with orchestras such as the Mariinsky Theater Orchestra, the Deutsches Symphonie- Orchester Berlin, the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, the Dresden Philharmonic, the Festival Strings Lucerne and the RAI National Symphony Orchestra. As a child, Herbert Schuch also played the violin for 10 years and has been an enthusiastic chamber musician ever since. In the summer of 2017 he undertook a trio tour with violinist Julia Fischer and cellist Daniel Müller-Schott. Rehearsal open at the Pollini Auditorium at 10.30 am.
