The first exhibition of the 2025 season, dedicated to the work of photographer Pasquale Palmieri, opens at Barco Teatro on Friday, Jan. 24, at 6 p.m.

The exhibition will present a body of work from the latest works of the Benevento photographer and architect along with some less recent shots, collectively accumulated by a deliberately evocative and transitory narrative.
Made on film, the images on display focus mostly on human presence and its relationship to the dimensions of space and time. Some of them, moreover, are taken from Mimmo Paladino’s film works Quijote (2006) and La divina cometa (2022), testifying to the long-standing professional relationship between the two Campanian-born artists.

The exhibition will be opened in the presence of the author and with a presentation by art historian Elisabetta Vanzelli.

The presentation will be followed by a screening of Mimmo Paladino’s film “La divina cometa.”

The exhibition will remain on view exclusively during the season of shows and events until February 2025.
