The headquarters of Banca Generali Private in Padua will host the exhibition ‘Sometimes in the Shadows’ by Elisa Gambalonga from Thursday 24 October 2024 until the end of January 2025.
An artist and photographer from Abano Terme, Elisa is known for her images in which natural light is used to capture emotions and moods. Strongly evocative photography that leads back to an idea of infinity and eternity.
‘The choice of myself as the subject of my photographs is linked to an irrepressible need to appear beyond any model of perfection that life requires us to exhibit. I love to immortalise myself in the illusory dimension of an image, blurred, sometimes missing projected in distant and impossible to define realities. Taking a photograph arouses in me the same effect as listening to a song I love, a listening I repeat endlessly until I myself become music and image’ – Elisa Gambalonga.
The exhibition, the brainchild of Elisa Gambalonga and Roberta Brotto, is realised in collaboration with Mind Progetti Fotografici, Tritone Luxury Hotel Thermae & Spa and Banca Generali Development manager Valerio Zanna.
The exhibition can be visited by appointment at the headquarters of Banca Generali Private, Largo Europa, 21, Padua.
