The Planetarium is an educational tool that reproduces the celestial vault inside a room, with the stars, the sun, the planets, as they can be observed on a clear night.
It also shows the movements and celestial phenomena in an accelerated way, so as to capture the attention of the observer.
It simulates the appearance of the sky for any place on earth and for any period of the past and future.
Equipped with high-resolution 3D video projection.
This tool allows you to represent cosmic space in three dimensions.
The 8k projection screen has a hemispherical shape and a diameter of almost 9 meters, it is suspended in the room, above the armchairs.
The appointments at the Planetarium always last about 1 hour and are divided into two parts.
A first presentation conducted by qualified personnel, astronomers specialized in communication and scientific dissemination able to convey to the public their passion for Astronomy: stars, planets, satellites, black holes, nebulae, galaxies will seem more familiar “objects” to you, amplifying the fascination for this extraordinary “thing” that is the Universe, difficult to define in words.
Subsequently a second part in which, based on the event scheduled, thematic films of great effect, realism and immersion are projected on the screen, to delve into some themes of Astrology or to tell stories with astronomical content.
