After the success of his book ‘Esercizi spirituali per bevitori di vino’ (Spiritual Exercises for Wine Drinkers), which earned him the accolade of Author of the Year in the international Wine Travel Awards, Angelo Peretti returns to the subject of wine from a radically different perspective: that of teetotalers.
In the western world, those who do not drink wine or other alcoholic beverages, even though they represent 40% of the adult population, are considered ‘abnormal’. Playing the cards of irony, levity and a career in journalism within the wine sector, Angelo Peretti with his ‘Self-defence manual for teetotalers‘ debunks the commonplaces that beset them: at the same time, he helps support the reasons of non-drinkers, wine drinkers and public venue managers to pay more attention to teetotal diners, with the aim of improving personal relationships, the quality of customer service and the pleasure of a convivial evening.
The evening will include the tasting of 6 surprise wines and will begin with a rich buffet prepared in collaboration with Claudia Fioraso of CLafè Lab. We kindly ask you to arrive on time at 8.00 p.m. (the theatre will open from 7.30 p.m.).
