The exhibition aims to remember the important Paduan artist who left us exactly two years ago and to reveal a particular aspect of his work. In fact, Zanella was convinced that her jewels could also be worn with ease by men and this project, presented by the artist himself to the Department of Culture shortly before his death and which therefore he was unable to see realised, now sees the light with the display of 25 men’s jewels. To make the artist’s creativity even more evocative and vivid, the works come to life in front of the lens of photographer Daniela Martin, who created 25 black and white portraits of men, professionals, master craftsmen, teachers and institutional figures from Padua and beyond , figures who were central to the goldsmith artist, friends and colleagues. 25 photographs deliberately in black and white to give greater emphasis to the vibrant color of the jewels.
