It will be a day to experience, but above all a day to run, that which will involve Padua on Saturday 7 September. The City of the Saint will see the Pride Run runners return to its streets, a recreational-sporting event unique in Italy, created to promote inclusiveness, civil rights and solidarity.
The Pride Run event, now in its second edition, is organised by two important Padua organisations: the Pink Run, which has been organising the charity running event for women only for over fifteen years, and the Pride Village Virgo, the largest Italian LGBTQIA+ Festival, which has been bringing hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Padua Fairgrounds every year for seventeen years.
The starting point will be for all those who wish to participate Piazza Garibaldi at 18.00. From there a unique 10 km route will wind its way through the streets of Padua and arrive at the Pride Village Virgo. Registration online on the website, at the Pride Village Virgo ticket offices or on site on the same day.
The day will not end upon arrival at the Fair. On the occasion of the closing of this edition, Pride Village Virgo wanted to organize a large party full of events and guests. Starting with ‘Mini Ravers‘, an afternoon event dedicated to families and after the great live performance by singer-songwriter Angelina Mango, special guest, the party will continue with Zelletta‘s DJ set.
The Pride Run is organised by IL QUBO Srl with the patronage of the Municipality of Padua and Virgo Cosmetics.
