The Civic Museum Eremitani born around the middle of the nineteenth and early (between 1865 and 1870) is enriched with precious legacies donated by the wealthy merchant Nicholas Bottacin. The museum contains valuable collections in sections Archeological Museum and Medieval Modern ArtMuseum.
Inside the Museum there is the multimedia room dedicated to the work of Giotto in the Scrovegni Chapel. Seven multimedia stations introduce the visitor to the knowledge of the Chapel frescoes and the historical and artistic context where Giotto worked. By using the tools that are made available, entering spaces physically reconstructed, so alternating moments of “passive” enjoyment to others in which you can actively intervene, the user can enter in the Giotto's art, understand the context in which it is acquired, investigate issues at will to get to enjoy the Giotto masterpiece visit, emotionally and cognitively prepared.
The route is not obligatory and can last from a minimum of 30 minutes at the time that each visitor sees fit.
