Policy on personal data processing pursuant to articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation no. 679/16

This information, provided to interested parties pursuant to European Regulation n.679 / 2016, governs the processing of personal data you have provided to the Municipality of Padua for online registration for the ‘Turismo Padova’ newsletter.

Data processing purposes and legal basis – Art. 13 co.1 lett.c)

The data controller processes personal data you communicated subject to your consent – pursuant to art. 6 co. 1 letter a) of the GDPR- to fulfil the subscription to the mailing list called ‘Turismo Padova’ to send you information about tourist activities of Padova.

By “consent” is meant any manifestation of free, specific, informed and unequivocal will of the interested party, with which the same expresses his / her consent, by means of an unequivocal positive statement or action that the personal data concerning him / her are being processed. The consent to the processing can always be revoked at any time.

Where and how data is processed – Art. 13 co.2 lett. f) e Art. 29

The personal data provided by users is processed exclusively in the Italian territory by staff trained and authorized to the lawful processing of data according to the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency, relevance and minimisation with respect to the purposes of collection and subsequent processing.

The processing is carried out with the aid of electronic or automated tools, in the manner and with suitable means to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data. In particular, specific technical, organizational and procedural security measures are observed, so that the adequate level of data protection is guaranteed.

The Municipality of Padua may make use of third subjects to carry out the processing of personal data of which the Entity has the ownership. These subjects are specifically designated as Data Processors pursuant to art. 28 co. 4 of the GDPR and ensure levels of experience, ability, reliability and compliance with the EU Regulation.

The use of automated data treatment or decisional processes whether automated or aimed at profiling users is not foreseen.

Obligation to provide data – Art. 13 co.2 lett.e)

The provision of data for registration on the ‘Turismo Padova’ mailing list is mandatory in order to receive the related communications, and failing this, it will not be possible to use the service.

Scope of data communication – The recipients – Art. 13 co. 1 lett. e)

The data processed by the Municipality of Padua will be communicated to the internal personnel authorized for processing and will not be disclosed or transmitted to third subjects.

Types of data processed – Art. 4 n.1

The personal data being processed fall within the type of identification and contact data of the data subject.

Transferring data abroad – Art. 13 co.1 lett. f)

The data is not transferred to third countries outside the European Economic Area.

How long data is stored – Art. 13 co.2 lett.a)

Data will be stored for a period of time according to the deadlines provided for by law, without prejudice to the archiving and conservation obligations provided by the legislation, by the Management Manual of documents and document flows of the Municipality of Padua and the Conservation Manual of the Municipality of Padua.

Rights of the data subject – Capo III del Regolamento UE n. 679/2016

As an interested party, you may request access to your personal data, for rectification, integration or even, if necessary, the cancellation or limitation of processing, or to oppose the processing. It can also lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority, the Guarantor for the protection of personal data, as provided for in art. 77 of EU Regulation 679/2016.
