ZTL Historical Centre
The centre of Padova is a Traffic-Restricted Area (ZTL) bounded by electronic gates that read the vehicle license plate.
Traffic in the LTZ is only permitted to vehicles with a special traffic permit.
The Restricted-Traffic-Restricted Area in Padova is divided into 5 sectors:
- “Squares” area;
- “Riviere” area;
- “Duomo “area;
- “Businello” area;
- “Eremitani” area.
ZTL – Access to accomodation facilities
People staying in one of the accommodation facilities located within the ZTL have the right to be issued with a pass to access the ZTL, for the period of stay and with the purpose of reaching the facility by car.
Parking is not permitted except for the time required to load/unload luggage. The pass is issued by the manager of the accommodation facility.
