The Teatro Stabile del Veneto presents the new edition of the summer festival ‘Aperitivo a Teatro’. A face-to-face meeting between actors and spectators, amiably sipping a cool drink, that nourishes the idea of a theatre capable of breaking down the fourth wall, to create one big community in constant dialogue.

There are two shows on the bill: from 30 June to 12 July, at 7 p.m., the Teatro delle Maddalene will stage “Only a Dream” by Tommaso Fermariello, freely inspired by William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”.

From 14 to 26 July, at 7 p.m., the play ‘Insults to the Public’ published in 1966 by the 2019 Nobel Prize-winning writer for Literature Peter Handke will be performed at the Teatro Verdi. The play is distinguished by its bold structure and provocative approach.
