Wednesday 2 July 2025 at 9:15 pm by and with Massimo Carlotto narrator, Andrea Pennacchi narrator, Maurizio Camardi saxophones and duduk, Sergio Marchesini accordion, Ricky Bizzarro guitar and voice, in collaboration with MAT Teatro.
In 2025, the Alligator, the character created by the Paduan writer Massimo Carlotto, turns thirty. To celebrate, Castello Festival is offering an evening event, an absolute premiere, featuring, in addition to Carlotto himself, musicians Maurizio Camardi, Sergio Marchesini and Ricky Bizzarro and actor Andrea Pennacchi as a special guest. Between words, music and blues atmospheres, which have always characterized the events of the Alligator, a reading that brings to the stage the most significant stories of the published novels that will come to life on the stage of Piazza Eremitani. A journey along the path traced by this strange unlicensed investigator in the Italian Northeast. A way to investigate the current events and history of these thirty years through the words of the protagonists of Carlotto’s novels with an exceptional cast embellished by the presence as a special guest of Andrea Pennacchi, a theater, film and television actor much loved by the general public.
