The MUSICA AL MUSEO 2025 festival, organized by the Friends of Music of Padua in collaboration with Padova Musei Civici, resumes after the summer break. The series, which began last June, concludes with two final concerts on Thursdays, September 4th and 11th.
The concert on Thursday, September 4th features the violin/cello duo of Ernesto Campagnaro (violin) and Riccardo Baldizzi (cello). Both musicians began their studies at the Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto and continued at the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland in Lugano, graduating with honors from both institutions. In addition to their duo roles, they are both involved in various chamber music groups. Ernesto Campagnaro has played for the Orchestra Filarmonia Veneta, I Musici di Parma, the Teatro La Fenice, the Camerata Ducale Orchestra, and the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana (OSI). Riccardo Baldizzi has performed, both in chamber music and as a soloist, with renowned musicians and for various institutions and festivals such as Asolo Musica, the Accademia Perosi, the Livorno Music Festival, and the Accademia Chigiana. Since 2024, he has been the cellist of the Noûs Quartet.
The concert is part of the National Classical Music Festival “Musica con Vista,” a musical tour that travels throughout Italy during the summer, taking place in gardens, cloisters, and culturally and artistically significant residences.
