A night-time stroll to understand how our city has been shaped over eight hundred years by the history of science, which has left indelible marks and traces almost everywhere; you just need to know where to look for them.
Walking with our guide Saverio Sanfratello and listening to his explanations, always balanced between seriousness and humour, we will relive the history and evolution of science in our beloved city, which has had the honour of hosting important men of science, from Galileo to Vesalius, from Harvey to Falloppio and Poleni.
We will also have the opportunity to learn about the evolution of healthcare and its importance in our city, which is still a national and international beacon in scientific and medical research.
Meeting point at 8:00 p.m. The walk will take place even in case of rain, as most of the tour takes place under the city’s porticoes.
The walk will last approximately 2 hours.
A contribution of €12 per participant is required (€10 for members); €6 for children up to 12 years old.
