Villa Molin takes its name from the ambassador of the Venetian Republic Nicolò Molin, who in 1597 commissioned the renowned architect Vincenzo Scamozzi to design his splendid country villa.
Situated in an ideal location, between the center of Padua and the Euganean Hills, Villa Molin elegantly reflects on the waters of the Battaglia Canal, retaining its original appearance.

On Sunday, September 28, Villa Molin in Padua reopens to visitors in conjunction with the celebration of the anniversary of the birth of Vincenzo Scamozzi and will be open every Sunday afternoon this autumn.
We are pleased to announce the close collaboration between Villa Molin and an extraordinary actor, GIUSEPPE PAMBIERI, who has virtually brought to life the Renaissance architect, VINCENZO SCAMOZZI, who designed the villa in 1597.
Pambieri, a great actor of theater, cinema, and television, among the most versatile of our time, has recorded for Villa Molin excerpts from Scamozzi’s text, the Idea of Universal Architecture.
With a timeless extraordinary voice, he has recorded the part that describes the villa, which will be played during the special visit at 3 PM and 4:30 PM on Sunday the 28th, accompanying the discovery of the villa.
The other tracks have been included in the new video guides created thanks to a PNRR announcement, visible through the virtual tour available for independent visits.
Pambieri’s voice has also recorded the dubbing for an extraordinarily evocative video by Marco Michele Rossi that tells of Scamozzi’s inspiration for the Villa Molin project.
The villa offers a Virtual Tour in Italian and English and brochures in Italian, German, French, Ukrainian, Russian, and English.
The staff speaks fluent English, and some have excellent command of Russian, German, and French.
