The association Padova Urbs Organi APS presents the special edition of its musical review “Alternative sounds for a transforming review” with the first of four concerts in the program Friday, October 3rd, at 9:00 PM – Church of S. Antonio Abate in via Savonarola – Padova with free admission.
The opening concert will be performed by the Trio Essenza formed by Giacomo Furlanetto on cellist, Maria Letizia Salerno Ballotta on clarinet and Amelia Buryte on piano. Born in 2024 at the prestigious Mozarteum University of Salzburg, the Trio has been taking lessons from renowned teachers such as: Wenzel Fuchs, Giovanni Gnocchi, Pietro De Maria, Leonard Roczek, Milan Milojicic and many others. Thanks to Giacomo Furlanetto, a young cellist from Padova, who is completing his musical training at the prestigious Austrian Institute, where he founded this ensemble together with the two above-mentioned colleagues.
They will present a very interesting program that will touch on the full romanticism of Johannes Brahms and Max Bruch, the clean sounds of Dmitrij Shostakovich and an unusual piece by Paul Juon, a Russian composer of Swiss origin who lived between the second half of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century, whose music deserves to be highlighted.
The review will take place with free admission.
