Saturday, November 22 at 8:30 PM “Dawn of a New World” INDACO QUARTET.
Indaco Quartet, one of the most interesting and engaging chamber music ensembles in the Italian landscape, known and appreciated abroad as well, is a great friend of Barco Teatro, with which it has previously collaborated on extraordinary projects, and it enthusiastically returns to perform in the “Sound Box” to present this beautiful concert to the audience, not to be missed.
Diverse languages of a single experience, that of the allure of distant and unknown countries and the impulse/fear towards their exploration, are the themes that thread through the pieces of the program: in the same year that Claude Debussy draws inspiration from Eastern sounds, Antonin Dvorak reinterprets those contemporary to America, and similarly, the piece by Cosimo Carovani, which also travels evoking different atmospheres from around the world and the feeling of the desire for discovery.
In this cosmopolitan and dreamlike dimension, the piece by Filippo Del Corno “Scherzo for quartet”, specifically commissioned by Barco Teatro and dedicated to the ensemble, will be presented for the first time worldwide on this occasion.
