From December 4, 2025, to April 12, 2026, the exhibition Here and Now will take place in the spaces of the deconsecrated church of Sant’Agnese in Padua, which draws inspiration from the sacredness of the place to engage in dialogue with the present and contemporary themes.

Featuring works from the AGIVERONA Collection and a selection of works from the Alberto Peruzzo Foundation Collection. A core group of 7 large works invade the Nave: installations, videos, photographs, and paintings (Nari Ward, Giovanni Ozzola, Jacopo Mazzonelli, Vincenzo Castella, Serena Vestrucci, Ivan Moudov, and Diango Hernández) that allude to the aura of the space, a 12th-century building, home to one of the most important places of worship in the city until the 1940s. In the former sacristy, a selection of works from the Alberto Peruzzo Foundation collection on the theme of sacredness, including authors such as Hermann Nitsch, Marc Chagall, Paul Jenkins, Jannis Kounellis, Robert Indiana, Alberto Garutti.

The two collections ideally reflect on the thematic cores of spirituality, time perception, and how the contemporary inhabits the space of memory, bridging the 20th century and the third millennium and showing how the concept of “sacred” continues to transform in current artistic sensibility: a sacred that is no longer confined to the religious realm but is understood as attention to the essential, to the passage, to the embodied experience of the present.

The exhibition will be open to the public starting Thursday, December 4, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
