The appointments with SUNDAY IN MUSIC 2026 continue, the Sunday morning series organized by the Friends of Music of Padua at the Sala dei Giganti, dedicated to promoting young musicians, awarded in prestigious competitions. Performing on Sunday, February 15, at 11 a.m. will be the duo consisting of violinist Lucilla Rose Mariotti and pianist Alessio Enea, winners of the eighth edition of the Giovanni Guglielmo Prize, a selection that honors the memory of the eminent violinist from Padua Giovanni Guglielmo (1935-2017), and is also aimed at promoting the music of Italian composers from the “Generation of ’80” and the early twentieth century.
The program includes several composers, almost all active around the turn of the twentieth century, and offers a wide and interesting panorama of European music from that period. The concert is organized in collaboration with CIDIM ETS (Italian National Music Committee).
The series is made possible with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the sponsorship of the Municipality of Padua, the contribution of the Municipality of Padua – Department of Culture, and the Veneto Region, the sponsorship of the University of Padua, CIDIM (Italian National Music Committee ETS), and the support of Carraro SpA.
All concerts of Sunday in Music 2026 will take place on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m. at the Sala dei Giganti at Liviano, Padua.
