1974. The footballer Lutz Eigendorf makes his debut in Dynamo Berlin, the leading team in East Berlin.

In a Germany divided in two, Lutz experiences sporting success, but he is also prey to the desire for everything that is in West Germany, and which is lacking in the East.

In 1978, David Bowie performs in West Berlin, a concert that Lutz cannot attend: it is the classic drop that overflows a vase of disappointments, suspicions, the urge to escape, to overcome that Wall kept under strict surveillance by Commander Erich Mielke, head of the Stasi’s secret services.
