On Sunday, April 12, 2026, on the occasion of the International Lions Day, the Lions Club Padova Ruzzante Rubianus, in collaboration with OPSA – Opera della Provvidenza S. Antonio, and with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Rubano, promotes a special day open to the public focused on prevention, solidarity, and engagement with the local area. Throughout the entire day of Lions Day for OPSA, OPSA will open its doors to the entire public, starting with the Guests of the facility and their families, offering a comprehensive program of health, cultural, and recreational initiatives.
The Lions Day for OPSA is set up as a true service, carried out entirely voluntarily by the Lions Club Ruzzante Rubianus and all the involved organizations: Italian Red Cross, Green Cross Padua, Veteran Car Club Padua, Concentus Musicus Patavinus, and Coro Città di Piazzola sul Brenta. A collective commitment that concretely demonstrates the lionistic values of service and civic engagement. The program of the day, which starts at 8:30 AM and will continue until evening, is quite extensive.
In case of bad weather, outdoor activities will be postponed, except for the concert which will take place regardless of the weather conditions.
Lions Day thus confirms itself as a moment of strong symbolic and operational value: an opportunity to concretely translate the values of solidarity and service into actions benefiting the community. Appointment on Sunday, April 12 from 8:30 AM at OPSA (via della Provvidenza 68 – Sarmeola di Rubano (PD). Free entry.
