From May 9 to July 5, 2026, the Gran Guardia hall hosts the exhibition “The Artisan Man. Portraits of Life” by Liubov Fedoseeva, promoted by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Padua.
With this exhibition, which consists of twenty paintings and twelve drawings, the artist aims to illustrate and pass down, through the medium of painting, traditions that are disappearing, creating a link between the gone world of our ancestors.
The idea for the project “The Artisan Man. Portraits of Life” born in 2017, drives the artist to research and study people and situations that can best represent and illustrate the territory, its people, and consequently traditions, customs, and characteristics.
Liubov Fedoseeva is a painter, specialized in portraiture. Her oil paintings on canvas are made using techniques from the Renaissance era, particularly the use of glazing allows her to convey games of light and shadow that are rarely found in contemporary painting.
