The Aldo Rossi Cultural Center is the heart of Borgoricco: a multifunctional space designed by one of the most revolutionary architects of the twentieth century: Aldo Rossi. The Municipality and the large Cultural Center show a modern approach based on the recovery of the past, particularly the multifunctional role of the villa and its pure geometric forms. The Cultural Center houses a large Theater and the Museum of Roman Centuriation. In the beautiful and well-maintained rooms on the first floor, the history of the Graticolato to the north of Padua is told, bordered by the Muson Vecchio, the territory of Mirano, and the Brenta River.
The exhibited materials come entirely from the centuriate area and include particularly valuable finds such as bronze strigils and decorated architectural slabs. The Cultural Center is free of architectural barriers, and the Museum has services for mobility, sensory, and cognitive disabilities.
The guided tour focuses on the architecture of the Cultural Center and includes a visit to the Museum.
