The Padovanità Association presents:
Discovering the Torre degli Anziani and the Padova Comunale
Saturday, June 6, 2026
After several decades, the Torre degli Anziani, a public bell tower and the oldest civic building in Padua, dating back to the 12th century, is once again accessible to the citizens. It was the noble tower of the Camposampiero family and in 1215 was sold to the civic community by the condottiero Tiso VI da Camposampiero.
For this important event, Padovanità offers you this unmissable opportunity to engage with the history of our city, including insights and historical context behind the Tower, followed by entry and ascent to the tower.
Two separate time slots for visits are planned:
– 2:15 p.m.
– 3:15 p.m.
Duration of the visit (indicative) is 1 hour and 30 minutes, comfortable footwear is recommended.
