The Renaissance walls, bastions, historic gates, riverbanks, green spaces, and waterways that have helped define the history of the city become backdrops for performances, meetings, and discoveries.

Born with the aim of enhancing the monumental, riverine, and landscape heritage of the city, creating a dialogue between historical memory and contemporary languages, from June 11 to September 16, 2026, AcqueMuraLive – Festival of the Walls and Waters promises to animate some of the most evocative and iconic places in Padua through a widespread program of music, theater, dance, and cultural deepening. For over three months, the public will be able to experience a cultural journey that traverses some of the most fascinating sites in the city: Porta Santa Croce, the Impossible Bastion, the San Massimo Riverbank, the Rotonda Gardens, the Alicorno Bastion, and the impressive Roman Arena.

Making the experience even more engaging will be the cultural itineraries curated by the Mura Committee, scheduled for each event, allowing for the discovery of the history, architecture, and curiosities of the host locations.
