On Sunday, September 6, 2026, the 27th edition of the European Day of Jewish Culture returns across Italy, to promote knowledge of Judaism in Italy and Europe as an integral and indispensable part of their heritage.
An established event of significant artistic and cultural importance, coordinated and promoted by the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage and Ucei, while also remembering the fruitful collaboration between Jewish communities, local authorities, Pro Loco, and associations active in the area.
The Jewish Community of Padua invites citizens to the Museum of Jewish Padua for the scheduled events.
EVENTS SCHEDULED IN PADUA will take place at the MUSEUM OF JEWISH PADUA (via delle Piazze 26, Padua).
On Sunday, September 6, 2026, it will also be possible to visit for free:
– the Italian Synagogue with guided tours (tours at 10.00 a.m., 11.00 a.m., 12.00 p.m., 3.00 p.m., 4.00 p.m.)
– the Museum of Jewish Padua with the webapp-audioguide (from 12.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.)
– the Jewish cemeteries on via Wiel and via Campagnola with guided tours (tours at 11.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.)
Men are asked to wear a hat to cover their heads inside the Synagogue and cemeteries.
