On Saturday, November 7 at 9:00 p.m., the overwhelming Isaiah Collier, whose saxophone literally ignites the already incandescent music of John Coltrane, will be the star of the final evening at the Teatro Verdi of the Padova Jazz Festival.
A highly charged concert is anticipated with the presence of Liya Grigoryan on piano, Conway Campbell on double bass, and Tim Regis on drums.
In the afternoon, the jazz festival also offers a “warming up” live session for the evening: at 6:30 p.m., the vibraphonist Saverio Tasca will perform at the Ridotto del Teatro Verdi alongside Alessio Zoratto on double bass and Luca Colussi on drums.
Radio Cafè, the festival’s media partner, will be present at the Teatro Verdi with a station to create and broadcast live the program “Il Jazzofono” from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
