ERIC LU, piano music by F. Chopin
Eric Luc, the winner of the F. Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw 2025, one of the oldest and most prestigious international piano competitions, will be a guest at the 69th Season of the Friends of Music in Padua, on Tuesday, November 4, at 8:15 PM at the Pollini Auditorium in Padua. This year, the competition has been followed on social media worldwide, such is the fame and allure that this competition holds, having been won over the years by some of the greatest pianists of all time.
Just as the Warsaw Competition is entirely dedicated to the music of Chopin, the concert program will also exclusively feature works by the great Polish composer, including some of his most captivating and extraordinary creations, such as the Nocturne Op. 27 No. 1, the Barcarolle Op. 60, the Polonaise-Fantasy Op. 61, as well as Sonata No. 2 Op. 35, the Polonaise Op. 71 No. 2, and the Three Mazurkas Op. 56.
